Harvest Hoe Down

I got to spend the day at the kids' school today for their annual "Harvest Hoe Down." I helped in Isabella's pre-school class this year and it was a lot of fun. Edilberto stopped by during recess and played some soccer with Liam and his friends. Some of my favorite pictures from today:

Obviously, Made with Love

I was making French toast for the kids this past weekend. I went to dip the bread into the mix I had made. When I looked down into the bowl, I saw this: The cinnamon had formed into a heart in the middle of the egg mix!

I could only lament that it didn't occur on the bread after it was fried in the pan because at least then, I could have auctioned it on eBay!
Here are the kids enjoying their French toast undeniably made with their mother's love:

Speaking of love, you may have noticed the beautiful red roses on my table. Those are from my husband to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary!

10 Years Ago Today

We were married in our civil ceremony in Brazil. Then, the following January, we had our church wedding and reception in the U.S. (when these pictures were taken).
